The Old Papatoetoe community will have a chance to hear about the plans to refresh and modernise parts of their town centre at a session hosted by Panuku Development Auckland on 11 April.
Panuku staff members Frith Walker and Connie Clarkson will bring everyone up to speed on the works currently underway to refresh Old Papatoetoe Mall as well as explaining the future plans to revamp Papatoetoe New World supermarket by Foodstuffs North Island Limited. The latter includes the reconfiguration of the neighbouring car park, to improve access and safety.
Aspec Construction recently completed the demolition of Old Papatoetoe Mall and the last of its foundations are now being removed to make way for a refreshed retail space.
The renewed mall, which will feature new shops, food spots and a plaza space, will be built in two stages so that Papatoetoe City Centre Pharmacy can remain open throughout. The first stage of the project is due to complete midway through this year and the second stage is expected to conclude by the end of 2017.
Hear more about these exciting plans at the update on 11 April from 10 – 11.30am at Papatoetoe Library, 30 Wallace Rd, Papatoetoe. Read more about the refresh of Old Papatoetoe here: https://www.panuku.co.nz/papatoetoe
